About Us
Azuri Tours is a family owned business that has been in operation since 1994. Azuri Tours and Travel has grown to become one of the most active African American female owned travel agency in Southern California.

After entering the world of travel and going abroad numerous times, the vision for Azuri changed and the president assembled a team dedicated to providing world-class service emphasizing international travel. The idea was to design packages that included luxury accommodations and first class custom tour programs that met the budget of the average working person. The first challenge was met in 1999, when Azuri took a group of 53 people to West Africa. From that year on, the route to international travel for Azuri has expanded to include countries all around the world. To date Azuri, under the leadership of their president, Amirah Hendrickson has been honored and is humble to have escorted and arranged tours for an estimated 700 people visiting various countries all over the world.

In 2008, “Azuri Passport and Visa Services" was launched. This offspring of the travel agency is just another tool available to provide Azuri's clients with in-house services for obtaining the legal documents required for their upcoming trips.

Over the years Amirah has been the recipient of several awards, letters of recognition and appreciation from her customers, colleagues, numerous African Diplomats, organizations and special interest groups. She was recently a guest on the Mother Love radio talk show. Click here to listen.

The company is registered with the State of California and licensed with the cities of Carson and Los Angeles. A board member of Southern California agents Traveling to Africa (So.Ca.ATA) and Africans Uniting for Africa. Azuri offers the following travel services:
